According to the criminal complaint, a confidential police informant met Wood in a Duluth motel in November 2006. The motel room was wired to record audio and video of the buy. Wood was arrested after he purchased meth and left the motel room.
The complaint alleges that Wood admitted to police that he intended to sell the meth that he bought.
