Jason Young, aged 37 of Bath Road was arrested along with four other men, when police stopped a 30 tonne truck in a lay-by off the Dartford Tunnel appraoch road.
The five men are accused of trying to smuggle 42kg of cocaine in a truck full of Bordeaux wine.
Young admitted possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.
Two other men - 30-year-old James Scarciglia from north west London and Michael Linker, aged 37, from Bristol - also admitted the charge.
Alister Morin, 34, from Essex - who acted as a middle man and lookout during the handover - pleaded not guilty but was convicted by a jury of the same charge.
A fifth man - lorry driver David Quick, 26, from Essex - also pleaded not guilty and could face a retrial, after a jury failed to reach a decision.
The four men are due to be sentenced at the Old Bailey today when the prosecution will decide whether to retry Quick.
