Czech police say they have detained five men, including two Britons, who produced methamphetamine in the Czech Republic for the British market.
Police said Friday the gang would buy legal drugs containing in pharmacies, process them into methamphetamine and transport it to Britain with the help of an airline employee.Members of the gang would manufacture half a kilogram (one pound) of methamphetamine every week. If they are tried and convicted, they could receive 15-year jail sentences.Police did not release the names of the three Czechs and two Britons.
