Regina Ann Burke, 44, of Manor, pleaded guilty to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance after selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer.
Prosecutors said Burke confessed when investigators interviewed her, and complained she was being treated like a major drug dealer. “This case should make it obvious that the Parole Board’s policy of early release has given this drug dealer the wrong message,” said District Attorney John Bradley in a news release. “This time, the parole board should take the sentence seriously and remove this serial drug dealer from the community for a long time.” Burke had prior convictions for burglary and drug offenses and had been out on parole.
