Sentenced Stanley Harrison to 262 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for conspiracy to distribute 1 kilogram or more of heroin. The judge increased the sentence after finding that Harrison is a career offender, based on three prior convictions for drug trafficking.
According to the plea agreement, Harrison worked between 2004 and 2006 as part of a heroin business in Northwest Baltimore, distributing up to 3 kilograms of heroin. According to court documents, Harrison was in charge of an open-air drug market from August to October 2006, selling heroin near Cold Spring Lane and Park Heights Avenue. About 200 to 400 vials of heroin were sold daily during the two-month period, authorities said.
