Patrick Doyle, Portland Row , Dublin was shot twice in the head on road between Estapona and Cancelada.The 4x4 BMW came under fire from another vehicle in the village of Cancelada, near Estepona.second man is reported to have been injured in the attack. third man escaped unharmed.The shooting took place just before 2pm Spanish time.The Spanish police arrived at the scene to find a four wheeled drive vehicle with five gunshots. Four in the windscreen, and one in the front passenger door.
The victim was travelling in the passenger seat. When the shots were fired, the driver lost control of the car and crashed, the passenger got out, and was shot, twice in the head.
The driver is injured, but has not been arrested.
The dead man is believed to be involved in the feuding gangs in the Crumlin / Drimnagh area of Dublin.
