Moroccan customs officers have reported arresting a Spanish citizen in Tangiers harbour with 435kg of hashish concealed in his vehicle.
Gonzalez D., 38, was about to board a ferry sailing for Algesiras, South of Spain. He was driving an Italian registered van, a source close to the Moroccan customs services revealed, saying the man was arrested on Tuesday.
The same source said Gonzalez would soon appear in court to answer the charge of "international drug trafficking".
