Fairbanks Daily News-Miner - Arrest at Fairbanks bar nets pills cocaine

Fairbanks Daily News-Miner - Arrest at Fairbanks bar nets pills cocaine: "Michael Webb, 34, whose address is listed as Fort Wainwright on court documents, has been charged with second-degree and third-degree counts of drugs misconduct, both felonies.

Fairbanks police Officer Dustin Stonecipher contacted Webb just before 1:30 a.m. while doing a security check at the Arctic Bar.

Webb was standing with another man at the entrance of the bar, and as the officer walked by, he reportedly said something about being on probation.

Stonecpiher asked Webb to speak with him, at which time Webb put his hand in his left pocket. He reportedly ignored requests by the officer to take his hand out of his pocket and ran through the bar, knocking several people over.

The officer followed Webb outside the bar toward the Steese Highway and a 6-foot-high chain link fence along the road. When Webb reached the fence, he put his hand in his pocket again and threw a clear plastic bag over the fence, according to charging documents."
